Breaking my pattern. Instead of listing all the singers I think will make it through to the semis and top 12 -- I think I've proven I have a good record on that, so we're good ;) -- I'm just listing the stand-outs to me (and a singer or two on occasion who I think will make waves but didn't move me peronally.)

So, we saw the performance of the season (so far, at least) in my opinion, on American Idol last night. Wow! That was mind-blowing.

No spoilers for tonight's episode, I just wanted to comment on the singers left. When the top 24 were picked, there were a few I couldn't stand to listen to, as in, their voices made me go 'nonononono!' (Yeah.) Well, Jacob Lusk still holds that spot, but Haley Reinhart has completely won me over. I still like Lauren a lot, and I love her voice ( Read more... )

American Idol - Casey and Lauren continue to be the only ones I have absolutely any interest in. In fact, they are the only two that I listened to all the way through.
